My Priorities
I believe the most important responsibility of the town council is to advocate for the needs and interests of all residents. To achieve this role, I will serve as a transparent voice for the people to communicate with our town administrators. It is equally crucial to comprehend the most effective way to assist a growing community by staying up-to-date with the times and in harmony with the residents. Naturally, all these efforts must be financially backed through responsible decision-making, identifying methods to generate resources, and capitalizing on state-provided programs and grants.
Community
One primary focus is to foster a sense of community by uniting people and offering opportunities for all ages to find a place where they can fit in. I want our residents to feel supported in all areas of life and I believe a good sense of community can do just that.
First Responders
Our first responders and essential personnel are as important to me as the residents. I understand the value they bring to our town and they should be taken care of and included in the decision making process.
Transparency
Another priority will be to keep residents informed. I see and hear a lot of comments about the town which are not always true. I feel it is very important to educate residents on reasons behind decisions that have been made and to get feedback to make sure we are all doing what is best for our community.
